Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To answer your enquiries. Legal basis: your consent, and our legitimate interest in responding to you.
- To manage bookings, orders and payments. Legal basis: performance of a contract with you.
- To comply with our legal obligations, in particular accounting and tax obligations. Legal basis: legal obligation.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it. Legal basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the providers we need in order to run this website and our services, and only to the extent necessary:
- Stripe, to process payments securely. We do not store your card details.
- Google, for website analytics (through Google Tag Manager) and to protect our forms from spam (reCAPTCHA).
- Meta (Facebook), in connection with content and measurement tools embedded in the site.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the safeguards allowed under the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your data only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for.
- Bookings, orders and invoices: for the period required by tax and accounting law.
- Data based on your consent: until you withdraw it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to ask us for access to your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time; that does not affect the lawfulness of what we did before you withdrew it.
